About

Sam Attal (b. 1991) is an award-winning photographer located in San Francisco, CA. He has an extensive background in corporate portraiture as well as documenting events, live music , the automotive scene and spot news. During his time in college, he majored in journalism and served as Editor-in-Chief of a weekly newspaper through which he developed skills in photography, news reporting and design. He has won national, state and regional honors awards through the Associated Collegiate Press, Journalism Association of Community Colleges and California College Media Awards. He is currently working towards expanding his career in portraiture and photographing music events; specifically the punk rock scene.  Meeting new people, listening to their stories and capturing their character in a photograph is where his passion lies. He hopes to inspire confidence in his subjects as well as bring out a side of them they would be happy to share with the world.
